While Peter and I were on our morning walk, we passed a wonderful grove of trees with winter moss falling off the limbs.  It was beautiful and reminded me, that at least on the San Mateo Coast, winter is transitioning into spring.

I was able to keep the orchid in the photo alive for over a year and it now has 3 beautiful blooms – I have been talking to it all year and did a little Reiki on it as well. This is my first successful orchid bloom.

The rock on the right of the monk strongly resembles a monk. The rock was a gift from my Chinese travel buddy, Jim Xui’s, mother. I admired the rock when I was staying with his family in Nanchong , China and, to my surprise, she gave it to me! It is a treasured rock.

Day Twenty Seven

Nancy & Diane's daily photos were taken on their morning romp to Montara Mountain.  Riley & Gromit had a wonderful time; flying through the air, boxing & playing chase.  Nancy took Riley to have surgery later that morning.  He had a gastroplexy performed, to prevent his stomach from bloating again.  Riley flew through his surgery and will be home on bed rest for two weeks.

"Not on Duty" ~ Gromit had a long day playing with a bunch of his buddies. As soon as we got home, he curled up on the chair, closed his eyes and started dreaming. I love puppy dreams. You always wonder what they are dreaming about.
